Holler are Fay Hield, Jon Boden and Neil McSweeney and they’re brilliant. They started life as “The Bootleg Young Tradition” for a one-off celebration of Bob Copper at Cecil Sharp House and enjoyed themselves so much they thought up a “proper” name for the band and kept rehearsing. Sometimes, they even do gigs and we’re very pleased that they’re doing one for us. Don’t miss it.
Here they are singing a cracking version of “The Old Church Yard”.
Unvarnished and unamplified. The best way to approach this sort of thing and you won’t find a better venue than Singing Together to hear them at their best. Well… maybe if you have a large, uncarpeted stairwell handy.
